Personally, Subject to Change is probably one of my favorite albums of Vanessa-Mae's. It felt very original and it felt like it came from her. If this is the sound she's talking about, whether she uses her acoustic or electric violin, I'll be looking forward to it.

Actually, VM usually uses two different violins in concert.

She has shown me how to incorporate flowing, beautiful, melodic lines into fast paced songs - when done right, it's beautiful, especially building up to a more aggressive melody or solo.

Even if Vanessa-Mae decides to take an extended sabbatical from the world stage, even if not permanent, let's remember that there is a new generation of wonderful young female violinists (don't forget us boys too) who are taking the stage - and no, I'm not talking about BOND or WILD.
