Its unbelieveable to me that there are so many of his instruments still around, not to mention documented. Its extraordinary that his instruments have made it into the hands of such a great number of accomplished musicians.

Very cool write up Xanthippe. I've always had a fascination with stringed instruments and I think the instruments in a musicians arsenal tell a lot about them as individuals. VM has certainly acquired some cool violins over the years.

I should have stated that differently. As a musician, she's going to get out of it what she puts into it. Its not different than any of us at our jobs. If we work hard, put in the hours, and take on extra responsibilities, hopefully we would be rewarded with promotions, pay raises, etc. However, if ...
