Vanessa-mae's performance in Happy Valley on the rather windy night of 30 June 1997 was seen on TV by millions across the world. Just counting the Chinese community alone, the number is mind boggling: 1.3 billion in China, 6 million in Hong Kong, 20 million in Taiwan, and at least 50 million Oversea...

"all good things come to those who wait" "all good things take time". That's the slogan off one of our cheese ads. Atreides is correct. 'those' in this instance refers to men, and 'good things' refers to Asian girls! Aventine is not wrong. Both Asian girls and cheese need an acqu...

Jason, have you got to do a further course upon your return in order to practice in Malaysia?
To fight the chill and to inspirit, may I suggest you listen to VM's Russian Dance. It is very powerful; even more so if taken into consideration the young age she recorded it.

In Western societies, it is more common to spot men marrying Asian girls than girls marrying Asian men is because the Asian men need to bring their new found wives back home to be with their families. It is traditional in Asian societies that men continue to be near to their parents even after marri...

I like Reflection best for its rich colours and wonderful animations. Also VM appeared very calm, composed, and much at peace with herself in the video. White Bird would be my least preferred choice because her movements in the cage were monotonous. I saw Classical 1 EPK once and really like it very...

Being born a China man into a traditional family, I have no choice but to be acquainted with Asian girls since young. It is not a bad thing as I soon grew up to understand and appreciate their warm and passionate affirmations, their dignity, grace, and thoughtfulness. Now my fate and happiness are a...

To fully appreciate the tree
one needs to look at the forest.
If a tree is deeply rooted
It should not be fearful of the wind.

Hey in the animal kingdom, genders are attracted by smells, not looks. The same applies to mankind, as sometimes smells can arouse the body as much as looks. Asian girls are no object, but sometimes they can be objectional. They may be demure and docile after having been neglected for years, but lik...

amQhr, very thQhghful of yQh to let us savQhr such quality recording. Personally, I did not see the change in Vanessa-mae's physical attributes. I saw her on several occasions over the last few years, the last time about six months back, and thought she is always her slander self. Perhaps it could ...

Rijko, you are so naughty!! See what you have done to a little girl? This Forum certainly has some very young members, and your reply or retort in this instance may be taken as a reprimand to this innocent young girl (I guess she must be in her mid teens). To me, and probably to most members, what ...

Kevin, I agree that Sarasate's Opus 20 would entertain the audience more. But you are entering a competition, and as such you need to know the heritage of the panel of judges. Sadly to say, judges are never impartial, and your 'informed' selection could give you an edge. Sarasate was a Spanish. Kre...

Obviously Vanessa-mae's works are good, but they cannot be all equally good. Here I am asking fans in this forum to listen to two of her CDs featuring similar tracks. My assessment is that the sound recording of the Winter(2) and Summer(1) in 'The Best of Vanessa-mae' was better than in her 'The Or...

Kelvin, would you like to share the name of the artist who did that recording? I have listened to many variations, and am curious to know what fans in this forum think of Vanessa-mae's interpretation vis-a-vis others who had done this same piece. I must add that the quality of her recording is not ...

The number of tracks (either 15 or 17) has nothing to do with release dates but rather depends on where you buy it from. I bought mine in August 2002 and it has 17 tracks.

I conclude that Vanessa-mae's interpretation/version of Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Season is the best of the many I have heard. Besides her, who do you think has a good recording of this work?
