Hey Arioch, don't worry about it. I don't like to get bidnapped on Ebay, but I saw that it was you, so I just kinda laughed. After all, you probably deserve to win it more than anyone. I'm getting used to it. Until I get a computer of my own again, I have to do my bidding at work, so I'm not there w...

Re: Strange lookin' instruments

Not really something I'd buy, but I guess these violins would look cool if you're doing heavy metal or something on stage :? http://efkeebler.com/efkmi/index.htm Anyone else find any strange or "interesting" looking instruments they can show us? Doesn't have to be the violin. I've seen th...

I watch a lot of videos, but can't remember one like you're talking about. Now you've got me curious. I'll think about it and see if I can come up with something.

I might have 1 or 2 decent pics, but most of my stuff is on a disc at my parents house. Unfortunately I'm at work and don't have access to a floppy or zip drive. How can I load a pic on this site so that it appears in my post?

Anyone have a cool car/motorcycle?

Not only do I listen to a lot of music, but I'm obsessed with cars too. In fact, this is the only forum I visit that isn't car related. Just curious. Does anyone else out there have a sweet car or motorcycle? And remember, it doesn't have to be immaculate in order to be cool. So lets hear what ya go...

I was going to post that today but I see you beat me to it! I must say I am surprised by her choices. I don't think I like any of them! Isn't it strange that someone whose music I admire so much can have such bad taste? But it does show that she likes a wide variety of styles, which is probab...

The Red Violin

OK, I guess this is somewhat related. Recently, I finally had the chance to sit down and watch The Red Violin with Samuel L. Jackson. For those who don't know, its a story about the events and people one particular violin goes through from the time it was made until the present. Has anyone else seen...

VM does need to take a more proactive approach to marketing herself. Mosts artists are the first ones to step up to the plate to do this, but I think VM is content where she's at. Plus, its more difficult for her since she has more of an international audience. I'd wager that it will take an album t...

What kind of item did you buy, wylde8? Well, it was a CD. I'm not sure which one though. It would have been either a single or a full length CD that I can't buy here in the States. Brett Actually, I just found out that I still have the email. It was Arioch who told me about the site. Thanks Arioch.

I'm glad she was finally able to reply to our questions. I only wish that the responses would have been a little longer and in her own words. I'm surprised she doesn't do any live chat sessions with fans. I could understand not making her presence known at her web boards. Not only would she be inund...

I had looked for something like this on VM a couple years ago, but found very little. Then a couple months ago, I bought a Vanessa Mae item off Ebay and the seller told me about this board. Unfortunately, I don't remember the sellers name. Possibly a moderator of this board?

I imagine a lot of people don't post because they don't feel they have anything to offer in general. Many people in the forum are musicians themselves, and can therefore offer more knowledgeable opinions on Vanessa's playing style, technique, etc. For those who don't play, I imagine many get scared ...

Thats a very insightful article. Thanks for posting it.

I agree. It is funny that her boyfriend is not a fan of her music. I can understand not being a fan if you've never heard it. But after he started dating her, I would think he would become her biggest fan.
