I will (as soon as i get the Chance) visit my local music shop to see what they can do for me. I dont know how it is in England , but if its anything like music shops in Canada ... Don't .... You should find a luthier or shop specialized for violins, you will get better price and better quality ins...

In Canada you can get a decent entry level electrical violin for about 700$ Fender and Yamaha are I think the best choices in that cathegory. Altought you might not want to keep the ori...

Yes, I do play the violin ... VM got me interested to this instrument with "Violin Player"... which in turn got me interested into classical music. She was the starting point of a major change in my musical taste. Right now i m learning Devil's Trill Sonata even with the protest of my teac...

If ya wanna check out Menuhin i can send ya the Violin Concerto No.2 in B minor Rondo (La Campanella) ... its a 1961 recording so there is some background noise, but his playing is worth it... His Saint-Saens stuff is also pretty neat... As well as some stuff by Elgar and Bartok which where composed...

Kept expeting some attacks, transition , vibratto .. .... .... that never came... To the point i had to stop l...

Well , from that standing point it is indeed very likely that EMI will try to squeeze as mutch cash out of her as possible. I do hope that she still has some clause in her contract that might allow her to prevent them from over exploiting songs she has recorded under their lable. That might tarnish ...

I think that would be a terrible idea for EMI to do that. One of the thing I dont like about VM albums is that the very same material come on many different CD's, I must have 4 or 5 time the same version of devel's trill, destiny, white bird, happy valey ... ... ... ... I do belive that at this poin...
