Does anyone know what electric violin vanessa mae prefers for a real violin sound. Does anyone know what electric violin japanese violinist taro hakase uses? I'm purchasing a bridge and was wondering.

Actually, VM usually uses two different violins in concert.
She uses her Guadagnini acoustic violin, which is fitted with a microphone that feeds into the f-hole of the instrument. This seems to achieve a natural sound.
Then for her "electric" songs, she uses a Zeta Jazz Fusion 4-string violin in metallic gray. It has a distinctive electric tone, smooth and warm and clear, not like an acoustic.
