Hi everyone,

I found this site while looking for information on a 3 disc set called "Red Hot"
it was published in 2004 by Universal Music Records Co. Ltd.

I can't find any mention of it on any music sites that I've searched.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

duncan

Hi duncan,

Welcome here in this forum. I hope you will enjoy it here.

Can you be a more specific on what you mean with the 3 disc set Red Hot. Do you refer to the DVD set of Vanessa-Mae's famous concert in the Royal Albert Hall for the Red Hot Tour of 1995?

Duncun,

This is not an official release. Disc A track 17&18, disc B track 14 and disc C track 13,14&15 are not Vanessa-Mae material.

Rijko,

Are you sure "Pricked by a Thousand Knives" is not done by Vanessa-Mae?

Disc A

17. glorious
18. temptation

Disc B

14. her modern

Disc C

13. way of difference
14. pure soul
15. pricked by thousand knives

I have never heard of these titles. Perhaps some might be part of the Carmen Fantasy for violin. I am not familiar with all the titles of the individual movements of the Carmen Fantasy.

I think Way of Difference is included in the Flow of Soul(Takuro meets Vanessa-Mae) album.

Eva, you are right!

Way of difference and pure soul are both on the Flow of soul, Takuro meets Vanessa-Mae. However, Vanessa-Mae did produce the album but plays the solo violin part only on Francis Elena.

The other unknown pieces may also come from this album. All titltes are in Japanese characters, so I do not know the translation of these in English. The mentioned pieces have English titles.

Doing a Babelfish translation, others are also on Flow of Soul

her modern is track 6
tempation is track 9
pricked by thousand knives is most likely track 11

according to http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi- ... dic.cgi?9T

glorious is track 4
