Here is an article from the February, 2012, issue of The Strad. It is on the 300th anniversary of the birth of Guadagnini, the builder of Vanessa-Mae's 1761 Violin, "Gizmo". It was put on by the Italian City of Parma, where Guadagnini had worked for 13 years.
On display were 22 of his instruments.
I hope this bit of ephemera is of some interest.
