Do you remember several years ago, that Vanessa-Mae fell off the stage;I believe after a rehearsal;and her !761 Guadagnini was broken ? Of course it was repaired and sounds as good as ever!
Well this is NOT Vanessa's Violin, but someone has paid $39,000 for this assortment of old wood! It is a"Vuillaume", that was broken when it's former owner fell while descending a staircase.
Now, I am sure, that Vanessa's "Gizmo"was not damaged this much, but the new owner of these wood pieces plans to have it restored!.....The wonders of old and modern technology!
