Vanessa-Mae on facebook

Post by Picnic »

Vanessa-Mae appears to be on Facebook since about a year now, see:

https://www.facebook.com/vanessamaeofficial/

With only 3,116 likes and 3,560 following, she does not seem to be too popular.

She does post with some regularity though. I never took her to be much of a FB user, but it's nice to be surprised sometimes :)

I am completely disappointed in her social media presence. It really is a cross post across four platforms, and then disappear. No interaction with fans at all (at least last time I checked). I also cannot tell if it is her, or someone else posting for her.

I follow a few others in the arts and entertainment industry, and they spend some of their time interacting. I just don't know what to say.

Pamela put this photo in her own Facebook like 2 weeks ago saying she had coronavirus, that's why she appears like this.
But now Vanessa has taken it. I don't know why.
Reconciliation?.

I remember Vanessa saying that she got a text from her mother wishing good luck right before she started the Olympics competition. So perhaps they're on talking terms in some small capacity? Baby steps ...

I am not seeing this on any VM social media. I can see it on Pamela's Instagram.

Was it receiving bad comments? The VM social media has removed posts with bad comments.

"Grandma"? Not sure why that comment appears.

Did you notice what Vanessa has put when she writes #mommiedearest? .....🖕

The same words when she uploaded Pamela's photo with not the most photogenic one.
Maybe sarcasm?

I am now almost 100% convinced that VM is not posting these. This intonation is not of one who speaks English as a first language.

Although I did not grow up in England, I have never said "revise by heart". To me, this is someone trying to use translate another phrase into English. What they meant was "go over by heart". Replacing "go over" with "revise" seems something a computer translation would do.

Vanessa Mae is ... 41 now? (geez I am getting old). All these emojis and hashtags ... I would not be doing if I was still that age. Someone at a much younger age might.

IT IS HER OFFICIAL PAGE!! If there is a Tick means that is that person officially.
How can you think it's another person?. It would be illegal to maintain this page for so long and Vanessa letting her/him without doing anything against it.
Also, no matter how old you are if you want to put emojis (Pamela and Vasko do the same).
If you see some Vanessa's T-shirts, they are animals and you could think the same for her age.
Moreover, too many personal photos right?
