then
/join #vanessa-mae

yeh, this is the one owned by benjii, whenever im on ill be in there, and benjii is usually busy, and it gets boring with no one else to talk to.

and in relation to your question Gatis, yes mIRC does work through a proxy server

I can help people get on through Java, also I use MSChat to get on. Granted you have to acsess a poultry room first if you want to get into chat

I was in a few weeks ago but the room is unregistered so I thought it was abandoned, if you want to register it, let me know

I noticed your thing about the server and saw, I was on a different one, I didn't know it made a difference, but I guess it does!

I went on to the one you suggested and got into the "real" chat

for me, the mirc story is off.... I have had many problems in a due to mirc that I don't want to use the programm anymore..
(hackers etc...)

yeh hackers can be a real problem
there is another way, u can use web chat, i could probabbly find a link to one, its irc using java applets, ive neva heard of it being hacked, and since its java applets embeded into html code, it should work even if your behind a fire wall.
only problem is its rather slow.

if u want i could look for the approprite sites

that would be good, thanx...... I have had mirc installed for a view years...... First there weren't problems, but then the problems coming... No normal mirc for me anymore....
