Rowling kills off main character - anyone want to guess who?

Regarding the link at MSNBC ...

My guesses would be:
1). Hagrid
2). Albus Dumbledore (with Professor McGonagall becoming the new head master)
3). Mrs. Weasley (only guessed her because of the preview offered at Amazon)

Also, if the main character was murdered; I would guess that they would return as a ghost. Rowling has yet to explain why people become ghosts, perhaps it is how they die.
