I am guessing that you were asked for your password "at home" instead of "at work". I used to do the similar logins a month ago, but never had the same problem.

I am not an expert at cookies (login information). The cookies seem to be valid for one full year, renewing for another full year at each login. If they are ever deleted by clearing the browser (for example, Internet Properties ... delete cookies), then would have to re-login at home. Sometimes Microsoft gets confused and uses a new location (and all of your cookies are lost).

If this error happened "at work", I think that you might need to login every hour, or every time you open a new browser or revisit the web site (but only if you are not "remembering your login details).

Sorry if this is confusing.

If all else fails, blame the PC... :pcangry:

Oh, I see ... I missed this the first time that I read your message. It seems that your work PC is refusing to keep your VanessaMae.org cookie.

Does any other site (like Yahoo) always ask you to always input a username? If so, all (or other) cookies are refusing to remain on your PC too. I think that this can be modified on the Internet Properties ... Privacy tab. It also could be the way the company has set up your rights on the Windows XP computer. Make sure they won't get upset if you change settings though. :;):
