We recently talked about Katie Melua and Bic Runga. I already had the debut cd of Katie and today I also found a cd of Bic.
Bic Runga is only known very limitly in my country. Her cd'ds are not generally availble over here. So i was delighted to found her 'Beuatiful Collision' cd in a record shop in my home town.
I am very pleased by the music on the cd. I like her voice very much and the accompanying acoustic guitar work is nicley done, as are all arrangements.
Anyone else is familiar with the music of Bic Runga?

Yup. I have "Beautiful Collision" and "Sway".
It's good to have songwriters who write simple, but articulate, songs. She certainly shows off her vocal abilities in Beautiful Collision, though there are some memorable songs on Sway too.
She also sang the duet with Dan Smith "Good Morning Baby" from American Pie (I or II? can't remember).
She has a sister in a band called "Stellar*".
