Looks ok to me, it doesn't STAND OUT or anything (with the exception of the bright colors) but its ok. I think more options on text, avatars, and smilies would be nice, and thats all the suggestions ive got.

I must say, I can imagine the ideas of AmQhr and Kevin... That are great ideas and it's ok for me... To put music into it is not soo difficult, I think... For avatars etc you can take a look at the info from ikonboard...

Well it's ok about avatars and stuff..., but I don't like idea about the music, when I surf on internet I usually listen music on my pc, and I never liked webpages where they put low quality background music or midi which, damage high quality sound of mp3 which I am listening, and if we want high quality music then the webpage will load quite long time. So I am against the background music. Sorry...

I compltetely agree with Gatis.
Moreover, if I want to hear some music, then I will arrange it myself.

I find that the look of the fQhrum is very kind and smart! I suggest "Classical Gas" in the raggae-version. It's an EARflatter fQhr the guest. It would be nice, when I could post statements in a layouted Format, so that the text could stand beside the pictures. But really the forum is very fine to look at. Really perfect. Can anybody explain what CODE means? I tried to change the color but [CODE#4711]Alpine[/CODE] doesn't do it.
P.S. How long must I wait fQhr the finished Website of VanessaMae.org ???

All,
On the subject of music in the background of this forum I vote no.
Simply for the reason that I frequently visit this forum at my workplace (no soundcard) and at home I have a slow modem connect and a midi file seems to take forever to download and start playing.
I choose (like Arup) to play music on my pc at home when I want it.
The rest is fine with me.
Cheers,

Aventine I know that it's a bit too late to say this but I love this Forum.
You have done such a wonderful job, especially considering
what a busy girl you are.
It's wonderful to see new members joining practically every day
I salute you, well done..
I Just have one suggestion.
I have noticed a very special Birth date missing in the calender.
Is it possible that you could insert our Vanessa-Maes Birth
date?

Oh yeah, I was actually trying to figure out how to do that last week in the admin control. I'll ask around at the iB support forum. Thanks for reminding me!

Why not do it the easy way by making Vanesse-Mae a honorary member :user: by registering her ???
Then forward the password to Vanessa-Mae.

That might not be too wise. I don't think we should register our Vanessa-Mae without consulting her.
Would it be possible to have a counter installed that counts down the number of days to Vanessa-Mae's birthday. The day after her birthday, it will start counting again from 365 to 0 on her next birthday.

At a topic listing. At the bottom is a link that says:
"Mark this forum's topics as being old"
The same link in the old forum brought you to the main forum page, but this time it brings me to the same page as the link was on.
I prefered the old way, that is, linking back to the main forum page. Since I'm done with the topic page when I click its link I don't want to return to it. Now must wait,.. then navigate back to the main page to choose the next unread topic.
Minor point but it slows me down. Especially when in Asia on a borrowed dial-up like now.
