Beyond Borders

I saw the movie 'Beyond Borders' with Angelina Jolie this weekend.
The story is about a rich young woman form London who becomes fascinated by the work on non-governenmatel human aid organisations and activities. The movie tells the story about the love between this woman (Angelina Jolie) and an non-conformistis activist of these on-official aid organisations.
I found the first part of the movie quite pedantic and overdone, but later on it became a interesting and fascinating confrontation with poverty, emotional involvement and danger.
After finishing the movie, Angelina Jolie herself became involved in doing something personally to help refugees, and to end poverty and starvation. Today, Angelina is goodwill ambassador for the UNHCR.
