As you all know Vanessa's other name is Chen mei, I own chenmei.com and I am going to pass it to a VM fan for free...once you have cracked the clues

I am going to prepare some "clues" (not all VM ones so it is fair to new fans too who are not as obsessed and knowledgable as some:D, the answers to which are around on the Net and you will have to find them , kind of a treasure hunt on the Net to get the booty

They maybe real stinkers and require a bit of Net chasing and searching to get them, I will leave this post here for a while so as many get to know about it as possible to make it fair.

I will post them at 9pm Sunday UK time tommorrow please let other fans know who may not have been here in time, any questions mail me with them before then.

Thanks, Stret rat, it was starting to look like the levels of enthusiasm are so low you can't give away VM stuff ?.

you'll be amazed how hard it is to make up some questions

Cheers, actually my time this weekened has been somewhat less than I thought so there are only three stages to it but that does not mean they are easy !, nothign isovertly geeky, vanessa mae-ish or whatever although a little of both is involved

I dunno why I just dont give it away but #### i was boored :p

9pm tommorrow (Sunday, uk time) anyway.

I cannot beleive this board censored the word "H-E-L-L" out in my post above !, how ridiculous, makes it look like vanessa fans are all P.C religious zelots !.

Na,.. the censors are a good thing. Many fans are young and colourful metaphors, though colourful, do not always offer a positive enhancement to the discussions; even if within context, their use seem reasonable.

I'd hate to have a parent monitoring their childs surfing and "bad list" (ban) this site due to a onetime minor indescretion. This young person could be inspired to become the next Vanessa and have this spark exstinguished or never started without this forums exposure.

Sure that's an awfully long stretch of possibilities, but in the long run, and I think most members agree here, the added colour is not that welcome.

Just my personal view, and I'm not a prude.
I have no religions beliefs or interest. Ya, the PC police amuse and irritate me too. I can talk like a sailor with the best of them, it just surves no purpose to do it here. I must say I sound pretty funny doing that too.

So my recommendation is, relax, it's just a minor control that should have no realistic impact on ones ability to interact here effectively. Just all seems reasonable to me.

I can agree with foul language being cesnored on here but I still think it's over the top as it is only the word H-E-L-L after all .

There are only a few parts to it Kev, I have unfortunately not had the time to do the right little smart flashy thing I wanted to do so it is basically a couple of clues you have to work them out by scouring the net for the answers, it is NOT all VM based infact it is nothign like that.

more like some riddles I suppose !

CST is GMT -6. So, it should be 3PM your time. However, Indiana does not observe Daylight Savings Time so ... are you currently GMT -6 or GMT -5 or ... ?

Rats ... it's 10:30PM EST right now. At 4PM EST tomorrow, it will be 9PM GMT for the UK.

Er, assuming Ian is at GMT.
