It is now three months since Vanessa-Mae's Birthday, and I planed on posting this earlier, but, you know how things happen to sidetrack you.
As mentioned by Xanthippe, we sent Vanessa-May an oil painting on canvas.
I commissioned a local Artist to do this for me. Her name is Jami Childers.
First I will show the photos I gave to the Artist. The first one is the master photo for the painting.
But since Vanessa is using an earphone and I did not want that in the painting, I sent a photo of Vanessa's right ear. I also wanted her acustic violin instead of the electric, so I sent another photo with her playing the acustic.
With these photos to work from and consulting with the Artist, the following shows the progression of the work from pencil sketch to finished product.
After that is the portrait framed and being crated to be shipped to Xanthippe for further handling to Vanessa-Mae.
