Her official website has been inactive for several weeks now. What is going on?

I still have the contact information for Vanessa-Mae's rep. I'll send an email about it and see what happens.

The vanessamaeofficial.com domain has expired and the domain is now for free, see whois.com.

Well, that leaves all prospects for a new album gone, I think! Vanessa-Mae obvious has no interests to continue her career, as it looks like that.

That will probable also mean that het contract with the new managing agency is over. Just like her Sony contract was terminated because of complete inactivity.

All we can expect is a few concerts every now and then in the usual locations (Rusia, Croatia and so on).

Well, it is her choice and we have to accept it!

I just received an e-mail from her rep which says: "Happy New Year! Thank you for the information and apologies for that. This is being looked into and should hopefully be up again soon. With very best wishes"

Yeah, there's a "grace period" after the domain expires where registrar reserves the domain to give the previous owner the opportunity to renew before making it publicly available. I'm sure they'll get it rectified and back up before too long.

One minor correction that is somewhat interesting. I realized that this reply did not come from her representative; this came from Vanessa-Mae herself. Now that I have direct contact with Vanessa-Mae, I will have a much easier time asking her questions as we'd traditionally do on an annual basis. I look forward to doing this again starting this year.
