Hello! I'm from Russia. I don't know english well, so I can make mistakes. I am listening Vanessa-Mae since 97. I have almost all her albums, from "The Violin Player". My favourite album's "Subject to Change". My favourite song (composition) "Art of War" and "Jamais". But I like all her albums very much! I found this site from msn search, just wrote "vanessa-mae". Also I've visited vanessamae.com, very good site, but forum isn't work. :( And now! I found it! I like her "Choreography". I am her fan! She is a great! And it was a holiday for me, when she was in Russia on a 2000 New Year! She was playing "Storm". I'm so glad, that I found this site! Thank you all, who made it! :D

Welcome nemo to the Forum,
It is good to have you on board
Yes Art of war is a wonderful track, it is full of power! and I find this
with most Russian composers they love writing powerful and coplicated
sounding music. My favourite has to be Dmitri Shostakovich wow he is superb! :worship:

I had looked for something like this on VM a couple years ago, but found very little. Then a couple months ago, I bought a Vanessa Mae item off Ebay and the seller told me about this board. Unfortunately, I don't remember the sellers name. Possibly a moderator of this board?

I like Vivaldi! His "Four Seasons", especially "Winter". I haven't heard Shostakovich  . But I heard Vanessa-Mae- that's enough! :D And I wonder why there is no her fans in Russia now, I just couldn't find them...

Well, it was a CD. I'm not sure which one though. It would have been either a single or a full length CD that I can't buy here in the States.

Actually, I just found out that I still have the email. It was Arioch who told me about the site. Thanks Arioch.
