tel aviv trio
Thats Great,
I was really excited this past summer when i got to attend a master class by the Turtle Island String Quartet, and got to meet them. I was like YEY YEY YEY!!!
Does anybody know anything about the Jacques Thibaud Trio? I've met them as well, and wondered if anybody had heard anything of their music.

i was sick at the hospital the day of their performance. it was my mother who used my ticket. she said it was great!
here are what they played:
1. Trio in C major Haydn
2. Variations on a Hebrew Melody Paul Ben-Haim (Israeli Composer)
3. Trio in C Major Op. 87 Brahms
they are in our newspaper today:
For shame! It's bad enough that cultural events are few and far between for the poor Pinoy*, but at Israeli Ambassador Irit Ben Abba's presentation of the Tel Aviv Trio, Jonathan Aner (piano), Matan Givol (violin) and Ira Givol (cello), at the Manila Mandarin, dining on the mezzanine was allowed to go on, much to the distress of the musicians and the audience who had to put up with clinking glasses and flatware, cell phone users and giggling waiters.
Now you can see the result of the government's low priority to culture in it's agneda. People don't know how to behave. Not only don't they give a care about culture, they're not even considerate of those who do.
This was a pity becasue the young musicians (all in their 20s) gave a superb rendition of Brahms Trio No.2 in C major, Op. 87, and a medley of Bedouin music.
