I'm glad I found this message board b/c I'm from Canada and Vanessa Mae is generally completely unknown here in North America. She seems to be more recognized in Europe and Asia. Anyway, I just wanted to stop and say hi but I would love to talk with anyone who speaks french, spanish, or german (cuz that's what I'm studying in Univ. and I need practice) but I'll speak in english too...about Vanessa Mae of course!

Hi,
My name isn't Pilar though. I know that "pilar" is a spanish name but my screen name is " I love Pilar" because Pilar is one of my favourite hockey players (I am canadian so of course I love hockey!). His name is Karel Pilar (pronounced Pee-Lash), he is from the Czech Republic and he plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Anyway.... does any one know how many languages Vanessa Mae can speak? I think she knows English and French, but I've also heard she can speak a little Spanish, German, and Mandarin chinese.
