Is anyone here a fan of Jean-Luc Ponty? I grew up listening to some of his albums. It is a new age/jazz/techno sound (don't hold me to my definitions! :D )

Here is a link to some samples from an album on Amazon

the song night flight/jean-luc was inspired by the director jean-luc godard. vanessa-mae said this in an interview.

as for jean luc ponty i haven't heard any of his songs but i have heard her daughter's, clara ponty. i hate to say this but clara's music is boring. she plays the piano and sings like enya but i like enya.

Jean-Luc Ponty's music is almost all electric violin and has quite a modern sound...quite abit is very up tempo. Technically, he is very proficient as is Vanessa Mae, I marvel at the talent and expertise these people have developed in such a difficult instrument.
