I've fixed the signature iB code/html thing now (before I couldn't get it to work for absoloutely ages). Only one request - please don't make them *too* eye catching (eg. adding a 800x600 flashing neon pink banner to your signature).

For my being a programmer, I sure had a hard time updating my signature. Trying to wrap everything inside the HTML command doesn't work. BTW, unicode fonts aren't available either.

:pcangry:

Is IB CODE help available? I couldn't find it. If not, here's a link that might help.

Thanks Aventine, joe_mate.

As you can see i've put this signature into action and I think
that many more of the members will do the same.

It's really nice to have your signature personalised. :cool:

Excellent work! :)

Ok the iB code help files can be clicked on when you're making a post (ie. here).

What trouble did you come across with the html, Joe?

Please don't include the

Code: Select all

<html>
<head>
<body>

</body>
</head>
</html>
stuff obviously. Just stick to your basic font tags and image tags etc. You can use CSS if you wish (but you won't be able to link to a css file obviously).

oops, there's the link!

:pblush2:

sorry about that!

I wrapped everything in the HTML code. I typed in (spaces added here intentionally):

Code: Select all

[ HTML ]
<a href="http://www.vanessa-mae.cc">My site, for example</a>
[ /HTML ]
and the HTML code became text:
<!--html--></span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>HTML </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"><!--html1-->
<a href="http://www.vanessa-mae.cc">My site, for example</a>
<!--html2--></td></tr></table><span =''><!--html3-->

OIC!
The HTML tag is for quoting HTML code?

Yeah I think so... didn't even know there was an HTML iB code, lol.

So just stick your html code right in, no need to wrap it in anything.
