Just today I have launched the very first vanessa mae italian forum on the web forum.vanessamae.too.it and an idea came to my mind. Wouldn't be great if on this forum there were links to other languages forums? (for an example visit enyafans.org

Interesting point. Perhaps each language should requested? I know that we have several that can speak Spanish, Russian, (apologies to Rijko here cuz I don't know it) the language of the Netherlands, Chinese, etc. I know other sites contain forums in other languages, and I don't want to upset them.

BTW, I think we choose English because it is a language that we either speak well ... or know only little of (this is welcome too, we WILL understand those who do not know English).

I think Haidee would add any requested language forum.

Well, certainly an interesting point. I am sure that Aventine will be willing to provide these links here in this forum.

Besides Encore's Italian forum, I know of a Spanish (Jorge and Guille) and a Polish (Sebastian) forum. Of course there must also be a link to Vanessa-Mae's official EMI board.

Joe, the language of the Netherlands is 'Dutch.'

Well, actually I've already taken the initiative to add all the forums I know of in the "directory" section of the website under "communities"... I'll add this one too. (You won't see it till the site is relaunched of course).

However, I know that I can download different language packs for this iB board but I'm not sure how that works... let me find out a bit more about this and get back to you.

Just thinking :p

What about a world wide map to show where we all come from?
One of those that you stick a pin in, a bit like the one that I have
on my web site. But a much better one.

Mine is a java script job, provided by bravenet.
It's just below where it says "the VANESSA-Mae Fan Links"

The button to access the map is this image:

Yeah, very nice fan map Arioch.

London should be a big big red dot, because that is where our Vanessa-Mae is.

Arioch,

I dropped by your site today again and pushed a pin in.
Rijko got a bit in the way, but what do you expect. It is a small country the Netherlands.
The site looks very nice.

Hey that's really cool, good idea - might get one for this forum as well in the near future!

However, Hong Kong is so small but we know there are heaps of HK fans, lol. And then there's big islands like New Zealand with only one or two of us...

Hi all,

I just checked and saw that there were already two maps available in the Yahoo group.
One worldmap and one for Europe.
Some of us who are members of the group filled in their spot.
Maybe we can use this as an example?? :;):
