But I love China Girl it's such a beautiful album, it's such
a shame that it is so underated and practically unrecognised.
I know nothing about the violin but to me her style sounds so intricate and very soothing.
What an Amazing and beautiful album I would love to hear our girl play more Chinese Classical.

To me this album just like her Four Seasons album is a masterpiece.
I want more!

Vanessa-Mae my dearest,
you do/play what your heart tells you is right.
I get exactly what you are talking about. And I play violin myself so I even have a better idea of what you are saying. I really enjoyed Chinese Girl and I am hoping to play that album myself when I get good enough.

In my opinion, she does best at what she is doing right now. Classical - variety fusion and classical are probably going to the best it can ever get. I doubt anything else will sound better than her original style.

Sadly, some classical people criticize her for playing different styles of music. Lot of classical players despise her for her different (non sinful) playing style. However, as mentioned in Vanessamae.com, many great composers and violinists at their own time here being hated by many people. Later, people will look back to what Vanessa Mae has done and consider her, one of the greatest violinist in her time.
