As I mentiojned already in the 'Vanessa-Mae News' section, our Vanessa-Mae will host the Classical Top 10 to be broadcasted on the new Sky Art 2 channel.
Starting this Tueasday 21, Vanessa-Mae will personally introduce each Tuesday till December 23, a classical piece with her own impressions. The order of the pieces was deceided upon by voting of subscribers to Sky Art and is as follows:
10: Tuesday 21 October, Mozart Celebration from Berlin 2006, Mozart
9: Tuesday 28 October, The Creation, Haydn
8: Tuesday 4 November, Homage to Ravel: Bernstein, Ravel
7: Tuesday 11 November, The Planets, Holst
6: Tuesday 18 November, Sir George Solti conducts… Berlioz, excerpts from ‘Romeo and Juliet’, Prokofiev
5: Tuesday 25 November, New World Symphony, Europa Koncert 2002, Dvorak
4: Tuesday 2 December, Rhapsody in Blue, Waldbuhne ’95 – American Night, Gershwin
3: Tuesday 9 December, The Four Seasons, Vivaldi
2: Tuesday 16 December, La Mer, Daniel Barenboim & The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Debussy
1: Tuesday 23 December, Rite of Spring, Europa Zonzert from the Albert Hall, Stravinsky
