I thought,for me as musician,interesting on which strings she plays,what strings she use.Maybe somebody knows..I know a lot of strings labels such as Thomastik-Infeld,Jargar,Pirastro(Eva Pirazzi),D'Adario,Larsen,Correli,Prim and others.It's interesting for me on what strings she plays.
And one other thing,maybe somebody have video or audio of her playing Leyenda live? It's great music! I remember it from her concert in Vilnius in 1999,I saw on TV..It was amazing !!!!

On my cello I use Jargar.Jargar strings is great,very good,soft and beautiful sound,tone.Like good old vine.When Vanessa Mae plays,I feel like I drink her sound of violin,like healing nectar.Such a natural and sincere tone;) She is very natural and talented violinist ! Really interesting which strings she use,because good strings(and instrument certainly,her Gizmo,Guadagnini vioin is great !) gives you more opportunity to express yourself much better.

That is certainly a good question in my opinion. I very much like the technical things and I have suggested to Xanthipp that I would be interested in knowing the the maker of the Bows she uses.

That one is in the Storm On World Tour movie. It comes from her concert in the Kremlin Palace that she did on May 1 of 1998. Xanthippe,maybe you can ask Vanessa Mae,what strings she use and which master and wood bow,when you will send questions for her ? It would be great.

I would be interested too. I had never thought about the strings, but good idea. To me it is something I would like to research, if I knew what she uses. I am always looking for a new subject.
