Earlier I had posted a piece entitled "People I Most Admire". Now this post, in retrospect, is what I was trying to say. When I compared the life and career of Vanessa-Mae with that of Audrey Hepburn, it was in the sense of the type of lives they have lead, and how they both were brought up.

They both are Gentlewomen, brought up in a cultured and cosmopolitan atmosphere. They are both Beautiful and Talented, in their own field. They both lived a privileged life, though in a different time. They both had Mothers, who pushed them ahead in their careers.

In a word, they are REFINED.

But the most important thing about Vanessa and Audrey is; I have NEVER heard of anyone making an adverse comment about either one! Neither in their private OR public life. In this day and age this is most unusual. They have lived an exemplary life.

They have earned our love, respect and loyalty. They are a gift from God to us.

Yes,I agree with your compair CarrollTowerCX! Audrey Hepburn is great Woman.I think,I have to share story of my admired duet from Netherlands,Anita&Ray or 2Unlimited.
For me,Ray&Anita,like Vanessa Mae, are people which I sincere admire.They made comeback,only for fans in 2009,but can't use name 2Unlimited because of former producer problems(in the 2Unlimited times, they,Ray&Anita in year had about 260 concerts !!!!! And producer paid,as they said too little for them and then they split).They made comeback in the name of love for fans,with name Ray&Anita.They were couple in the 2Unlimited times,then was some arguments,they don't talked to each other some long years but they still love one another and is tolerant to each other.And in 2005 met again and talked.iIn 2008-2009,The comeback was on the way and then,in late 2009, Anita,about year, had very hard period,she survived cancer...But with Ray support,protect and real friendship and all support from the fans she,recently already getting better and recovering.She(with Ray) had some concerts in very hard times but she did it ! Ray supported her all the way.Besides all,Ray&Anita always stay positive,sincere,respectful and peaceful.Ray had many girlfriends and talks only good things about all of them and Anita don't blame he and understands him.They don't do scandals and so on.Vanessa Mae are also without scandals and so on and it shows that they,Vanessa Mae,Ray,Anita,Audrey(all the other peoples which I have mentioned in other topic which I admire) are simple,sincere,good heart people.And now, they are preparing new album and whole new World Tour in 2011.For me their story is inspirational.They ar true friends and I really admire Ray&Anita as great man&woman,plus 2Unlimited is a part of my life.I really,maybe from my point of view,see similarities of Ray&Anita and Vanessa Mae,as persons and in creativity,some sense joins them.I would love that Vanessa Mae would record some songs with Ray&Anita ! I hope,it was interesting for you.It's important for me.
Vanessa Mae is certainly great woman,person and violinist,her life is almost perfect example and she is inspiration for me as I am musician myself also and I love her thoughts.I am thankful to God that we have such peoples in our Earth !
