He has recently posted a 3 part video of an interview with Vanessa-Mae in NYC when she was 20 years old. Outside of the video "The Making Of Me", This is, in my opinion, the best interview with Vanessa. It is very relaxed and informal. You see, the Interviewer brought his own video camera, plus his tape recorder and notebook. This was not a professional video shoot. Vanessa is very relaxed during the whole thing. Very refreshing. You see her makeup artist applying lip gloss and fixing her hair, plus other behind the scenes activates. This shows Vanessa, like any other young 20 year old girl. (Of course she DOES have a tremendous talent, and has been all over the World, at her young age), but I Really enjoyed the "informal" interview. Also it runs 30 minutes! Check it out, you Will enjoy it.

Yes,that's really great interview with Vanessa-Mae.It's very informal indeed and very relaxed interview at the same time.Vanessa-Mae is really sweet and very kind and sincere girl.Thanks for links to this interview and great that is about 30min long !I really love this interview.I feel very cosy atmosphere in this interview.Really good to watch and to listen this interview.

Thanks for uploading, I had not seen this interview before.

I think this interview must have taken place 1999 around spring and early summer. Vanessa-Mae had her hair short in this style in that period. I saw her live in Hamburg, Germany, in May.

Yes, it is funny to see her make-up artist busy on her with lipstick, doing something around her eyes, and fixing her hair properly. Vanessa-Mae is always perfect in her presentation when it comes to her clothes, hair and her face.

Notice that she never rubs her face with her hands, but only very carefully caresses her hair from her face with her finger tips as she realizes that everything on her face has to stay in perfect condition. I never saw her touch her face during the concerts that I visited.

You are right, I have never seen her touch her face in any video or interview! If she needed to move her hair she used her little finger to carefully push it back.I have seen it, but it never really registered. Thanks for the new insight on Our Violin Princess.
