Vanessa Mae will do a concert in Indonesia in June 2011

According to that website, Vanessa Mae will take part in a concert together with Canadian Jazz singer Michael Buble and Bryan Adam. The concert itself will take place in a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist monument, Borobudur Temple (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borobudur_temple), Jogjakarta, Indonesia in June 2011. However, The ticket sale has not started yet.

I am so shappy to hear this since this is gonne be Vanessa Mae's second visit to Indonesia. Her last visit was in September 2001 during her Tour for Change in our capital city, Jakarta.

I will update here as soon as possible if there is anything related to her upcoming concert.

According to that website, the concert is managed by Public Boardcasting System (public broadcasting television network service with 354 member TV stations in the United States). PBS will collaborate with Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Republic of Indonesia
to held a spectacular concert in the ancient temple Borobudur.

That concert is titled The Joy of String concert and will be broadcast through PBS network as a delayed broadcast.

They mentioned that Michael Buble's concert will be held in March, while Vanessa's will be in June..
So I assume that they will perform separately...

Yes, you're right... They mentioned the concert will be broadcasted, however, I still don't know which one.... I hope They will broadcast our Vanessa Mae concert there...

Actually, I am really looking forward to her coming to Indonesia... But I think It's impossible for me to go to her concert cause I am now living in Japan until next year... so sad...

I hope there will be specific updates about her concert shortly...

Thank you for this bit of good news about our Vanessa-Mae doing another concert. Yes, I am with you, I hope they broadcast Vanessa's concert. But after 10 years, it is a shame you will not be able to attend.
