Well Boys and Girls,

I have been planning this article for two or three weeks now. it is a "Blast From The Past", so to speak.

There is a virtual treasure trove of Vanessa-Mae information hidden in the 12,000+ posts of the VMF archives. I intend to search it and bring many old topics to the fore again, hopefully with new information or opinions.

This particular article is an opinion piece......My opinion, if you please. It is from March 12, 2003, posted by Glenn. It started out originally on another subject, but what caught my eye was the following:

Now my opinion of the above follows along these lines:

Since I am an Asianophile, with a true affinity, since childhood, for Asia and especially Asian Women. Also I have been married to a beautiful Korean Woman for 40 years now. I think I am qualified to express my opinion on the subject at hand.

Without a doubt, I find Vanessa to be a truly beautiful young woman. Her skin is flawless, without the slightest mark other than a vaccination scar on her upper left arm. Apparently that is the only mark on her whole body, since most of it has been seen in various photos of her. Now of course there will be a scar on her elbow where two metal pins have been placed after she broke it in Switzerland.

As for "Thin and Bony", I will go with "Slender". I like slender, small figured women. As for "Bony", I will say her hands are bony because of all the use they have been given.

Vanessa's visage, to me, is truly beautiful. The mentioned "T" shaped nose is the same as my Wife's. So that passes unnoticed by me. Her eyes are beautiful and her nose, lips and overall looks are charming.

I, of course, really adore her one sided dimple and the slight cleft or dimple in her chin. She may have a square cut man's jaw and chiseled chin, but it suits her well.

Xanthippe's opinion of Vanessa is very true also. I, too, see in her face, determination, energy and strength. How could it be otherwise.After what she has done in her young life!

In my opinion Vanessa is a true Asian beauty. I would not change a thing about her. She is a delightful and gorgeous woman. And I rest my case, by showing the following thumbnail photos of Vanessa that I chose from the several thousand in my collection, any of which would have done just as well.

Thanks CarrollTowerCX ! My opinion is very clear: I love and admire Vanessa-Mae as She is.I admire how Vanessa-Mae plays the violin,her physical beauty and attraction,personality,how She speaks,I love her sweet voice and no matter if Vanessa-Mae is with or without make-up.I admire Her as She is.

Did Lionel have a woman before being with Vanessa?

In several magazine or newspaper articles Lionel is referred to as having been a "Playboy".
So I would guess he has been with other women before he found Vanessa, but now he has
found his Life Mate!

Lionel being a playboy was just a label put onto him by media. He opted to stay out of publicity, despite he has a top class celebrity as girlfriend- our Vanessa-Mae! I think that is not in agreement with the ego of a playboy. As far a s I know, nothing is known about previous relationships of Lionel. Today, Lionel accompanies Vanessa-Mae often when she appears on celebrity events, but he always stays outside the spotlights.

We all know how the Media is. After finding out that Lionel and Vanessa were together, they just concocted the "Playboy" thing. I would guess that since he is a handsome man and his father being Mayor, etc. they thought the name would stick.

Outside of special events, not involving concerts, you never see him with Vanessa. I believe Lionel is not an attention seeker, as so many would be in his position, considering his partner is Vanessa-Mae.

As before, I believe they are simpatico.....Life Mates.
