I was delighted to receive the present, and we did send a card to say thank you, which must never have reached you. Things like that mean a lot more to me than a lot of 'industry' awards, which are awarded for all the wrong reasons, please thank all concerned
Thank you for all your interest and questions about my life at the moment, I hope I can answer them all for you. Firstly I postponed the original release of the autobiography because I did not consider it to be in the correct state for publication. This is my one chance to put my life in my own words, and put right a lot of the rubbish that has been said about me, so it has to be exactly right. I am still working on the book, and it will probably be published towards the end of this year.
The good new my website is currently being re-designed, and will be under new management (much closer to me) very shortly. This means that we will be updating the site regularly, and I will be making a contribution to the site once a month. Keep an eye on the site over the next few weeks!
I am planning to tour in late April, May through China and a lot of the Far East, followed by Eastern Europe and Russia. I may also appear at some European Festivals in June. I am still making plans for the USA, but will get there eventually. I'm going to be appearing at the opening ceremony of the 2002 Para Olympics in Salt Lake City on 7th March.
In answer to your question about my make-up habits, it is necessary for TV appearances, photo-shoots etc., and I accept that being presentable in public is part of my job. However I do enjoy not wearing any make-up at all in my own private time.

Both replies were addressed to me with the request to pass it to all involved. We can't possibly expect Vanessa-Mae to personally reply to all individuals. Moreover, I don't think she wants her email address to be known by too many people.
However, you can try to put such a creativity into your card or add a personal message, which might prompt Vanessa-Mae to answer you dirtectly.
One nice feature about the first project in 2000. Aventine added a few prints of her website with the question about Vanessa-Mae's opinion. Aventine, and all of us, were thrilled with the idea that vanessa-Mae indeed saw the site and liked it.
Vanessa-Mae's answer to the second project last year took some time. Apparently, her intial answer was lost. I send her a second letter, in which I also asked for a signed brochure. I received an email very quickly and the brochure with her signature shortly thereafter.
