A late review ............

I managed to get tickets to get tickets to VM manchester and oxford STC concerts. I did try and go to her concerts
way back in 1998 but work commitments prevented this.

The Manchester concert was held at Halle concert hall. Its a nice spacious modern venue. Seemed like almost all seats where taken. Probaby 1000 + people there. Unfortunately, I could only get a seat quite far from the stage. Took some pictures but they didn't come out too well due to the lighting and distance plus I switched off the camera's flash. Also had to dodge the ushers/ security people when taking photo's.

But it was still a great concert - first time I'd seen VM. After the concerts she got 2 standing ovations (i think).
Also, a small group of people came to front of the stage and got her autographs and gave her presents/ flowers etc.
Before and aftwards some concert brochures where being sold- so I got bough 2 :P. Some nice pics !.

Concert lasted about 2 hrs , finished about after 10pm.

Didnt stay behind to try and get her autograph/ met her ...:(

Second concert was at Oxford (22/11/2001). This was a better event for me. I got a front row seat ! Only down point been it was in front of the main speakers. But she was on the same side of the stage as me when playing :D

It was a lot smaller venue - a Oxford Apollo Threatre. A bit crowded again. I managed to take quite a few pics... some didnt come out to well. Also, the ushers/security where a very strict- was told to stop taking pics- even though i had the flash off ! But by then the concert was nearly over. Quite a few people where taking pictures with flash on.
The best part was VM did a walk about on stage - managed to see her only a few feet away :D... well maybe 5 feet but still very nice hehe... After wards she had a standing ovation.
She came out and played a piece. Then went away. Another standing ovation she came out again then played a another piece. Being close to the stage did see her nice costumes- very nice range. One more thing mid way through concert ( i think ) she tripped whilst walking backwards. Just laughed a bit and got back up. But I think her long shoe heels was the main cause of the fall..

Concert again lasted 2 hours. I did read that VM went shopping during the day. Again concert brochures where been sold- didnt buy any this time.

Afterwards did she a teddy bear throw onto the stage which VM picked up. Couldnt give my by that time - she rush off... also there was a (orcastra ?) barrier between stage and the audience.

Couldnt wait to get her autographe :(... long drive back home... have to wait till next time i think.....

I did see a (press?) photographer at both concerts - seemed to be taking a lot of pics.

Next time will take video camera ....

I'll try and get some of the pics uploaded if i have time or sent to rijko.

Well, Vanessa-Mae tumbles form time tio time. sometimes even without having high heels. She is rather clumsy in this.

She almost felt at her concert in Berlin that I attended.

Thanks for your review Ahmed. Please scan photos soon, if possible.
