but it's imcomplete
only 4:16 minutes
supposed to be another extra 16 seconds.

Still uploading. Will take about 3 or 4 hours.
They are not small files. And my cable provider now limits upload speed, so what used to take 10 minutes takes 90 minutes. Be patient and check back in 12 hours.

Most of these video files have been available on vcd in the past. Maybe some still are.

Although I think that it is great that all members of this forum and all other fans of Vanessa-Mae have the opportunity to obtain this material, I think we should be careful not to hurt Vanessa-Mae in her commercial interests.

We as devoted fans should protect her in this. At least, I personally feel this obligation!!

I too obtained material from unofficial sources, but I have always bought immediately the officially released material as soon as I was able to get it.

I realise perfectly well that not all of us have credit cards to buy online and have the necerssary financial possibillities as I have.

Nevertheless, I ask for some care and restraint in putting material on the internet that has been released officially and can be obtained from this quite easily.

Just for the sake of Vanessa-Mae. We owe her that!!

Yes Rijko,

I considered the risk about damaging Vanessa's commercial interest by releasing these videos. But decided to go ahead primarily because these Video's & VCD's are no longer available commercially (where Vanessa gets a financial benefit). Right now the only way to get them is on eBay or a peer to peer site like Kazaa (if you can even find them). Vanessa gets no benefit. But providing them here for a short time, her true fans will be able to get and enjoy Vanessa's music. I doubt collecting these videos will keep a fan from buying her CD's. Now if Vanessa were to put out a DVD collection of her videos in the future I would expect every one in the forum would get a copy (or 2) regardless of what videos they have.

Right now Vanessa's "Best of CD" is available. So I provided a crippled mp3 (mono and 32Kbps) of Art of War (which I've since removed). This allowed regular fans who visit this site to hear it but I don't think it would have hurt her as it's quality is low and no-one would want to trade such a file.

Now I did offer of full resolution the Video contained in her CA1 limited edition CD (again, very hard to find now comercially). I also offered the full resolution video from "Art of War". True here, I probably should not have offered that as it might cause a fan to say, "I'm not going to bother with this CD as I already have all the music on other CD's and I've downloaded the Video", which could hurt Vanessa's CD sales. But again, we are not Kazaa, I would expect members would not make them available on such networks. I would think the true fan that visits this site would still buy the CD. Millions visit Kazaa a day. Maybe only a dozen visit here a day so I feel the potential impact is zero.

I am very happy to hear that my point has your attention. I agree completely with you. No problems at all.

This forum is about shairng what we have on Vanessa-Mae. It is also about letting others get to know our Vanessa-Mae and to promote our girl to the best we can.

I always want what's best for our girl. And informed fan base aids that. Now I just wish I could get some Concert and Video DVD's as is very common for Japanese artists.

Since she set her hotel in Hong Kong under fire at her 24th birthday I havn't hEARd anything new from Vanessa. Where is she at all this moment? So I'm very happy to have now the new RedHot Video for my Mediaplayer and I thank you very much for this. Also I'm lucky for downloading some other Videos, even I have them at all. But it's better to have some secure copies of that bevor some streetrats come nugging from Vanessa's bits and bytes.
