I have four tour brochures of series of concerts of Vanessa-Mae. I have the following:

The Red Hot Tour
Storm on Tour
The Original four Seasons Tour
Tour For Change

Joe Mate has scans of all four on his site at: http://www.vanessa-mae.cc/ (see the tours link).

I have never seen or read anything on a brochure of the Classical Tour that Vanessa-Mae did in 1996 and 1997. moerover, I have never seen it on auction at ebay either. I suppose that there probably is no such brochure for this tour of concerts.

Does anyone know more about this?

I just received scans of the Classical Tour 1996-1997 from Sebastian. So there actually is a brochure for this Classical Tour!!

I'll try to order it via the site you have mentioned, but I seriously doubt whether they have it available still. Maybe i see it at ebays one day.

actually, all the items listed can be ordered at the Vanessa-Mae Merchandise Company. I have no idea if this company still exists.

Music Merchandise Company may still be in operation.
I believe they were a 1 person operation in support of Vanessa items but haven't heard of any activity from them for at least 4 years.

You can still write them and ask them to email you with details about what they can supply if anything. I used to have their phone # but don't know where to look for it.

The page you mentioned http://vanessa-mae.org/items/mmc_list.html has not been updated for a while. It was Frank Langbeins VM page. I took over the domain for him when he decided to give it up. We are just keeping it available "as is" per his initial wishes. Didn't want to lose the content he provided, though some links are now dead as they lead to pages written in a special code that I could not replicate.

Rijko, need some upload space for the scans? PM Me.

I don't think the merchandise company is still active. It is not mentioned anymore in booklets and brochures. I strongly had the impression that the address was more or less connected to Mel Bush.

I am willing to upload those scans, if Glenn grants me some space for that.

I am currently scanning all the booklets of cd' s and cd singles. I have some rare collectables like all three original early recordings, the ASEM2&Vanessa-Mae 2cd box and the Mercedes box.

Anyone interested in some of these scans?

The Best Of tour is using the Tour Of Change program/brochure.

The tour was in January 1997 it was very cold, as for a program, there was no program because the concert was changed 6 days before the tour, many said it should have been cancelled, a lot of the audience walked out and demanded their money back, i was pleased to see her and she was pleased to see me and saw most of the concerts.

Vanessa-Mae toured for her Classical Tour on the European mainland in autumn 1996 and in the UK in January 1997. The UK tour was significantly hampered because the members of the orchestra that would accompany Vanessa-Mae were refesued work permits for the UK. This was after a union for musicians files an complaint that Vanessa-Mae did not invite misicians for the UK for her concerts there.

There is a concert brochure for the Classical Tour.

The program of the concerts for the UK tour was adjusted to a more impromptu nature.

The thumbnail below shows an insert added to the tour brochure in which Vanessa-Mae credits the mucians that helped her out in this situation. This insert page also provides a program for the 'Alternative Classical Tour' in the UK. Click the thumbnail to view a larger image.

Scans of the complete brochure can be found on my wesbite at Vanessa-Mae's Tour Brochures

We have Vanessa-Mae's 'Alternative Classical' concert in Birmingham on video file. This concert was a brilliant show of Vanessa-Mae and the audience rewarded her with standing ovations. So I think the tour in the UK was asuccess but some of the press didn't like to admit that. They welcomed a failure for Vanessa-Mae.

Jenleex, I still think that you are David the stalker; are you?? Please answer my question. I want to know and I think we all are entitled to an explanation for your strange behaviour and the suggestive nature of your posts in this forum !!!!!!!!!!!
