My opinion for what its worth.

Naturaly buetifull young women do not need Makeup,

If i can put it like this a house only needs a new coat of paint
( MAKEUP ) ounce the old paint has started to crack and flake of ( GETTING OLD ) :;):

The moral being why paint a house that has a perfectly good coat of paint allready :p

In my opinion make-up reinforces Vanessa-Mae's natural beauty, i.e the way she uses make-up results in this. She always remains recognisable and natural with it.

Of course she is a beautiful girl (young woman) by herself and she doesn't really need any cosmetics to look perfect. I just think it looks nice and it suits her very well, resulting in a sort of aristocratic aura and flair. I consider it the finishing touch in her presentation.

Seeing Vanessa-Mae live on stage, standing and playing right before your eyes, wearing nice clothes, with her beautiful long black hair and with her face perfectly made up, is pure magic. I have experienced that magic and it is very impressive. She just looks very nice and decent like that.

I must add that on stage it is theatrical make up (stage make up) that is applied, apart from making the artist look beautiful its main purpose is to cut down the glare off the lighting. It is also to aid in photographing or filming of the artiste, once again to cut down on the glare, and of course I mustn't forget to enhance the artists natural features.
