Finally, some definate up-to-date news about Vanessa.
I've just got my copy of the April issue of ClassicFM magazine to find the cover artist is none other than Vanessa-Mae. There is a detailed six-page article, Full page advert for "The Best of.." and another blurb in the news section. If you can get hold of a copy of this publication i'd encourage you to do so, a six page interview with some fantastic photos can't be bad!
For those of you who don't know, the latest news, as far as i can tell, is this:
Vanessa will be releasing a landmark new album later this year!! She is currently in close talks with the ClassicalBRITS founder 'Rob Dickens" about the new album and recording is set to begin in April.
Dickens comments that 'the new album will be an "event" record, full of drama', and will return to 'The Violin Player' era in terms of sound.
'It'll be a record full of drama, that comes to life visually, in the listener's imagination. It'll be a classical record with an air of excitement and discovery'.
There is also the possibility of another world tour to support the new album and talk of a forthcoming DVD - watch this space.
Hope that's of interest to you all.
Pocus.

For those of us hapless few who live in the USA.
Borders Books & Music carries ClassicFM Magazine.
The April issue wasn't on the shelf yesterday, but looking through the March issue there is a big picture of Vanessa to advertise her appearance in the April issue.
BTW: Borders also carries the Telegraph, Hello Magazine, and many other international newspapers & magazines. At least mine does.
PS: I'm member 14 and I had waited several days before registering.

Thanx guys, what an honour, 100th member
Glad that bit of news was helpful to you. Even though i live here in the UK, news about Vanessa is still very hard to come by, and her official website...well, we won't even talk about that!
Yeah, BORDERS is a probably the best place to get UK magazines if you're in the states, vice-versa for me as i sometimes get American publications from my Borders.
I'm not sure what cable channels you get in the rest of the world but ClassicFM have just launched a tv channel here showing classical concerts and videos 24/7. The big plus is that they show Vanessa-Mae videos which i've never seen all the way through! They also play a lot of videos by Bond and other crossover artists.
Hope you guys have a channel like this, certainly makes a change from the usual MTV.
I'll keep my eyes and ears open for more news, have a good day from a very cold and windy England.
