I remember reading it was a classical song but I didn't pay attention to it until watching tv, and one of the stations (can't remember, nbc or cbs something like that) includes it at the end of their shows, or at least the production company does. Well I can't explain it. :O All I'd like to know is the classical song. :)

Thanks!

The original classical version of Storm is from Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The song is 'Summer' Presto.

Vanessa also recorded the classical version, but she changed the tempo from 'Presto' to 'Tempo impetuoso d'Estate' , its incredibly fast and moving. By far my favorite interpretation.

I too like Vanessa-Mae's interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. She added so much originality to this well known piece. Her version is adventurous and challenging. And then she changed the mentioned movement of Summer into the vibrant and dynamic music of Storm.

It is all so brilliant; it is Vanessa-Mae

Yes, if only Vivaldi could hear her!
I have listened to at least ten other versions of Four Seasons but none can be compared to hers. Perhaps I have not heard enough, and would appreciate it if you have any recommendation.

Fabio Biondi, i havent heard is version of Four Seasons yet, but so far i have realy enjoyed his versions of other Vivaldi's String concertos. His version of the four seasons is on my "To buy" List.

Atreides, yes I have listened to Fabio Biondi's version of the Four Seasons before, but still prefer Vanessa-mae's interpretation. I particularly like her Winter.

Winter !!!! ohhhhhhh yea .... I love her "Winter Allegro non molto" ... especially the ending, the last minut or so, the extra notes they play and the way they change the speed ... This is my favorite song on the album.

Some may suggest Perlman interpretations... but i realy dont like him, dunno why, something about his style i cant digest.

Yes I agree, Vanessa-Mae's "Winter Allegro non molto" is wonderful.

This movement is also in the 'Storm on World Tour' movie as Vanessa-Mae played it during her ASEM2 concert at Buckingham Palace.

I love Storm and Summer, but my fave is the opening of spring (but of course Devils Trill is naturally the best on that album :D ).

I like all the jumpy bits she puts in it!
