Why is calling your violin Aurora sad? Funny of the coincidence, yes. VM has a name for her one violin.

I never named my saxophone, but then again, it's technically my uncle's (or it belongs to my mom's side of the family).

Rats, some geek I am, I never watched Dr. Who.

I am now thinking of candies resembling citris fruit wedges (firm, but resemble gelatin) coated in sugar. Are these things perishable, or do they sit on store shelves for months until the are purchased and eaten?

I know that naming my violin isn't sad really, but Aurora is the name I would like to call my first child, if I ever have any.

Besides listening to Vanessa-Mae's music, I also enjoy seeing her perform on video too.

I have the following live concerts registrastions on video and DVD/VCD:

Red Hot Tour at the Royal Albert Hall (1995)
Live At The Berlin Philharmonie (1996)
The Alternative Classical Concert in Birmingham (1997)
Dubai Concert (1998)
Storm On World Tour Movie

Of course I have many more video material, including all her video clips, The Violin Fantasy (silent movie) and The Making of the Siemens Ad.

Today I just saw the Dubai concert, The Violin Fantasy and The Making of the Siemens Ad.

I encounter it always as so inspiring and comforting to see and hear her play or act in any other way on video.

What a girl, our Vanessa-Mae: she is so special!!
