Xpectation cd on ebay

As far as I know, Xpectation has never been released officially by the NPG music club. It was only available in mps format for members only to download for a short time.

I sent an email to the seller for information on this. Moreover, I posted a message in the forum of the NPG club.

I expect answers soon!!

We have the mp3's files already and it is easy to convert these to an audio cd that can be used in normal cd players.

So if this cd at ebay is not an official release that there is no need to buy it, certainly not for the US$ 10 as starting price.

I have already received a few answers to my question in the NPG message board that confirm my reservation for this item.

Xpectation has not been released for general sale by NPG Music Club so far, nor has a date been scheduled for that!

I agree with Joe on the identity of the seller being the same as coollectorV

I received an official comment from the NPG Music Club, it says the following:

Xpectation" has not been released on CD. The link u posted is 2 a low-quality, unofficial, illegal bootleg. Do not buy it.

Any member found selling NPGMC content outside the club will have their membership immediately revoked and their in4mation 4warded 2 attorneys.

This says it all, I guess!

In fact as I just noticed, Xpectation, including all his other Prince cd's and dvd's, have been retrieved from ebay.

This person had a lot of Prince material on auction at ebay. All his auctions have been terminated!

This person must think that we are so gullable and that this
person thinks that we would not know that this cd is a fake,
and he would make some easy money out of us.

That's right. I got my illegal copy of Xpectation the old fashioned way (I downloaded it and burned it myself)!

FWIW, all my illegal copy does is sit in a cabinet. I thought I would enjoy the jazziness, but after listening to a few songs, I put it away.
