Hey HezzyBabe, welcome abroad!
Cool, I play violin and piano too. And guitar. I'm pretty keen to learn something like the sitar or lap guitar, hehe.
My main interests include music in general - listening and playing, basketball, squash, pool & snooker, art - design & art galleries etc., history and politics. :smokin:
I was pretty keen on ice-skating a few years ago, but haven't been doing it much in recent years - would be really cool to try ice hockey sometime, but it looks quite violent for me!

Travelling - 41 countries and counting (first saw Vanessa (on video) on a high-speed catamaran between Macau and Hong Kong in 1998)
Golf - unfortunately, I have too much counting to do during a round
Reading history - Just read a fascinating book called '1421, The Year China Discovered the World'

Hey tomm, who's the author of that one? I'm doing some reading on China around that period, up to 1800, for a history paper I'm doing. :bow2:

The author's name is Gavin Menzies. The website is www.1421.tv . It's also going to be a TV documentary.
