Birthday project update

Vanessa-Mae's birthday on October 27th is now rapidly approaching, therefore an update on this years project is appropriate.

I hope many of you will be willing to participate in this years project.

GUIDLINES FOR PARTICIPATION

1 Participation is free of charge!!

2 Design your own birthday greetings card for Vanessa-Mae and send it to me by email (sent me a pm for my email address)

3 Each particiapnt can submit one or two questions that I will add to the greeting cards. Be aware that I can not garantuee that Vanessa-Mae will answer any questions at all, but so far in previous bday projects she has been so kind to comment on some issues that were keeping us busy at that time.

4 It is of course possible to participate without submitting a card or question. In that case, just notify me by pm or email with your name and contact details and I will add your name to the list of participants.

I abandonned the idea of buying glasses as present. Lorjou is right in his comments that it might be too personal.

As gift, I bought an amulet with a Chinese sign that symbolises protective spirit and a Scorpion zodiac sign (our Noodles is a scorpion) made of a small stone. Both ornaments are hanging on a chain a leather.

The idea behind these two small gifts is that if Vanessa-Mae keeps them with her on her travels, she will be under our spiritual guidance of her best fans, and that she will always be safe. I hope Vanessa-Mae will appreciate these small tokens of our love and care for her.

These are only small gifts and any financial contribution by others is not necessary.

I filed a request to be allowed to hand over our gifts and cards to Vanessa-Mae personally when I am in London for her concert on October 21st.

Wonderfull Rijko! That is a very good gift. I'll hope you'll be succesfull, by getting the opportunity to meet her in London (ik zou in dat geval wel erg jaloers zijn, maar toch hoop ik voor jou en ons dat het lukt).

Rijko the gifts are a wonderful idea, even though they are only a small
gift they represent how much we (her fans) care about her.

Rijko I wish you the best of luck with your request, I hope that you are
give the opportunity of personally handing the gifts to our dearest Noodles.

Big White flower from the place that so far and hard to take, The white Big teddy bair make by Arioch and Rijko Ebens (it'sjust a hand make and just one in the world) ,and on her birthday on the morning -everning take her full herselftime and in everning take a place a little Disney Land to her.

I already stated in my first post in this topic that I have bought already a few small presents for our Noodles Vanessa-Mae. I made photos of this amulets and here are the links to give you all an impression:

This week I had contact with Vanessa-Mae's management on the delivery of this years bday present to her.

I spoke to Giles Holland, Vanessa-Mae's personal assistent.

Giles is very nice. She told me that a signing session would be held after the concert and that Vanessa-Mae would leave town immediately thereafter.

Giles told me that Vanessa-Mae would appreciate it if I would present our gifts to her during the signing session. Of course I replied that i felt honoured to have the opportunity for this. Giles told me that Vanessa-Mae is looking forward to receiving our wonderful gifts then.

This whole week is the final opportunity for all who want to join to submit their contribution to me.

I am sure that Vanessa-Mae really appreciates our gifts, support and love that we show for her in this forum.

I will probable shake hands with her, but I will use my lips only to talk to her because I can't imagine that she lets herself be kissed. Besides, I don't want to ruin her make-up.

Ok, I am making everything ready now. We have 14 participants.

aventine, I will mail you all conttributions when I return from London. Can you make them available on the FSVM website then?

The concert is on Thursday. I will return from London on Sunday 24th. I hope to make my report including my photos available a.s.a.p, preferable already on Sunday evening!
