The October issue of the EVE magazine reports on a campaign supported by celebrities to raise money to support the ongoing research to cure breast cancer and to support the struggle so many women have to fight against this disease. Vanessa-Mae joins this campaign because she experienced herself the trauma of loosing dear relatives in premature death caused by cancer. Both Vanessa-Mae's grandfathers died as a result of cancer. In the short article, Vanessa-Mae explains why she joined the campaign against breast cancer. She also tells what the glamour of being a celebrity means to her. She explains that she is a self-introvert and that the glamour of beautiful clothes and wearing make-up helped her to build up her self-confidence.
