VM's Royal Albert Hall concert review from soundgenerator

Post by foreverred »

This guy was NOT nice. Seemed to be pretty unforgiving of her being forced to play her Zeta since her acoustic was having microphone problems. I think he needs to listen to a bit more classical crossover (Bond, The Planets, OMAR LOPEZ - haha!) before he makes any more glaring remarks and cutdowns about the genre with its driving drum and bass grooves and soaring guitars accompanying classical instruments. She is a CROSSOVER/POP/CONTEMPORARY artist, not just classical. Anyone who is going to one of her concerts for sweet, velvet, rigid old lady sounds is in for a rude awakening. She is a very driven, powerful artist with an awesome band. London's critics are lucky she performed the concert live and didn't mime it. Or maybe, would they prefer that? Pathetic. Vanessa-Mae, my musical sister with the metallic gray violin - keep up the awesome work, keep smiling. You will outlast these critics who have no right to call themselves as such.

I agree completely. when you have any knowledge about our Vanessa-Mae and her music then you know what is to be expected at her concerts: not just plain classical music but a mix of styles in which a selection of tracks that made her famous play an important role in the show.

I've seen Vanessa-Mae twice live in concert on her Choreography tour and both have been amazing experiences.

WELL DONE VANESSA-MAE: we as your fans love you for all you are giving us.

Please don't mind the critics and carry on with what you think is the right way to go with your career. JUST HAVE FUN!!!

it seems Vanessa-Mae dosent give 2 hoots about what the critics have to say, if she did she would of gone just classical ages ago.
isnt it ture she plays what she plays because she wants to?
besides, she knows theres all us fans out here that love her music :)

It is the work of some one who has nothing better to do.
This guy spams most forums, he has tried to spam the Official fans forum
and also Daniel's Yahoo webspace.
I have asked joe_mate to delete the post and if possible his membership.

This kind of people should swallow 5 kg of the stuff they try to sell, so we would never be spammed by them anymore!

This person posts quite often. Please do not "quote" the websites. ;)

Sorry, I can only delete, not block.

I will now post links to the beer websites that I consume 5 kg of (or would that be litres).
