Strange lookin' instruments

Not really something I'd buy, but I guess these violins would look cool if you're doing heavy metal or something on stage :?

Anyone else find any strange or "interesting" looking instruments they can show us? Doesn't have to be the violin.

They are really cool i would love to have one,
I would think that this type of instrument would be used by musicians in
groups such as Apocalyptica?

haha, yeah, so cool instrument. at the first sight, i thought they are guns...
surly they also could be used by 007 :twisted:

I've seen those before and I think they're pretty cool. Definitely a case of form over function though.
