Which record label would you like VM to join? - Her contract with EMI has ended

I don't know. I just visited Warner ... and their site seemed to promote their artists okay.

Of course, they link to the artists' sites; so the webmasters are probably another big promotion factor.

Can we get Mutt Lange to be the producer?

Yeah well Mutt Lange is great producer! One of my favorite bands The Corrs worked with him on their latest album, and this album made them famous in USA, so maybe Vanessa should try!!

Why call her Mae? That is language for unfair critics, in my opinion.

And in my opinion Rijko, I can call her Mae if i want to. Seeing how it is part of her moniker.

Mutt Lange is a good producer.

I think she should work a little bit with N.E.R.D I dunno why, I just think a collaboration with the 2 of them would turn out some GREAT music.

Addressing her as Mae is usually seen in articles that are not quite positive towards her and it is sometimes done by people who think that Mae is her family name.

In line of this, I have once seen her mother be named Pamela Mae!

I didn't want to suggest any malicious intentsion by Kevin. I was just surprised that a member of this forum called our girl 'Mae.' I hadn't noticed anyone doing that before in this forum. That is why I made the remark.

Well Kevin I think that could be a really something new if N.E.R.D. would work with Vanessa. I wonder what kind of stuff they could make together ( maybe violin + hip hop beats

)

BTW what about the font colors in forum, I think we shoud use more darker colors (black, purple, blue, brown) (I must admit that it is hard to read those bright-green or yellow colored fonts) ???

No hip hop beats please!! Vanessa-Mae would need to be very creative to make something out of that!! Maybe she can do it, but it is not the direction that I would like to see her go.

Rijko, no hip hop beats...I think it would be interesting to see vanessa do something more on the hip hop, or r&b side of things. Her working with N.E.R.D wouldn't mean she would have to do strictly hip hop. Just recently they collaborated with Britney Spears for her Boys Remix, and it turned out very well, and thats pop. At least they should do a remix together, I mean you have to admit her remixes do lack a certain bit of creativity.

I am sure that Vanessa-Mae would be capable of using hip hop beats in a creative way into her music, but I simply don't like hip hop or house music (or whatever it all is called).

She can use beats of course, but not in a way that it becomes hip hop music.

Hip hop beat music is so poor; it is only noice, at least I feel it that way.

Can you imagine Vanessa on stage playing violin.... and then Eminem, or Busta comes out and starts rapping, that could be a once in a life time performance!

I just want to see Vanessa-Mae play in her concerts. I don't see any additional value in a presence of Eminem or Busta (never heard of this guy). Sorry, but I don't feel any appreciation for this.
