:D I was joking about the outfit and popularity thing, but im sure that if people saw her lookin the way she looked during that time period (mid 90's) when other pop acts were out like Backstreet Boys, NSync, and Spice Girls, Im sure they would wonder...what the ... is she wearing?

Glenn, its a forum, please share your thoughts on why Vanessa is not too popular here please :)

First of all people, DO NOT take the following to heart, It's not meant to start WW3.
It's just an observation, and nothing more so Stay calm OK!

I must say it's strange how I'm the only one who likes this dress I think it's sexy. I especially thought so when she wore it during the Red Hot Tour '95, I think that Vanessa looks absolutely stunning in it.
Need Proof watch Live at the Royal Albert Hall or just simply look at the cover.
I can't believe nobody has mentioned the video?
So if NOBODY but me LIKES this dress does it mean that i'm the only one that likes to watch the Video?

I don't think going by the video/cover or tour that this dress harmed her career in anyway whatsoever.
What a beautiful young women she was and is.
Vanessa was out for a good time. Like I've said, this dress says lets have some fun, let's parteee.

Come on People, you're all slipping.

Just thought that I'd rock the boat a little, and cause some trouble!!! :p

So who's Arioch gone and upset?

Well as i said, this dress in not my favourite but I don't hate it in anyway. It makes her look cute and funny!

Arioch, of course I have seen the Red Hot tour video. And I am sure that most people, seeing our Vanessa-Mae is that dress in this video, find her a very nice and beautiful girl!! She is always cute.

She certainly does look cute,

Sorry Rijko if I've upset you or any other members but I don't think that I have.
I did give a warning at the start.

I never meant to put you or anyone else down, I knew that you must have seen the video. Infact I think nearly every one in this Forum has.

I just thought that this is strange we've gone from Time Square taxi cab to discussing the dress that she was wearing yet nobody had mentioned the video.

It's just a statement to say, was I the only one who realised that this is the same dress.
I was just surprised that nobody had mentioned it

Hence: Come on people, you're all slipping

why would I want to run any one down?

I watched a programme that was on after this about how to promote an upcoming artist and vanessa-mae was like a case study. The cab thing was a stunt, but it looked good anyhoo!!!

I don;t remember what the programme was called but it was all about how to do stuff like tv stunts, and how toothpaste was made. It was presnted by Eamon Holmes does anyone know what I am talking about.
