The day after her concert on February 17th, Our dearest Vanessa-mae was robbed by a bag snatcher in Zurich while she was waiting on her train in the railway restaurant. For a split second Vanessa-Mae didn't pay attention to her bag and lost it subsequently. See,
Vanessa-Mae robbed in Zurich
Vanessa-Mae planned to travel from Zurich into a short skiing break in Switzerland. She had to go to the police to file the robbery and missed her train as a result. Apparently according to the report, Vanessa-Mae was traveling alone at that time. The report doesn't mention anything specifics on the things lost.

This is very concerning you would think that after all of the trouble
she has been through with the idiot stalker that she would be more careful?
I can not believe that she decided to wait alone on a railway station
What if this person wasn't just a bag snatcher? ? ?
Our girl needs to be careful and she should not be traveling alone!

Poor Vanessa-Mae. As talented and beautiful and kind as she is, I guess she is still very trusting and a bit naive to the evils of our world, however it is apparent that she has gone through some personal and musical growth in the past several years since splitting from her management and from her mother's protective wing. I love Choreography and I also love Subject to Change. There is so much originality!
Honestly, this kind of wisdom will only come with experience for her, just like it has for so many of us.
However, when all else fails and she finds herself in that kind of situation again... she can transform into... Sailor Vanessa-Mae! Just kidding, naturally.
Best of luck, sister violinist.

His "butt"??? She better should aim a little bit more at the front! I don't think that the robber picked our girl to rob. It is probably a coincidence that it was her. Don't you think so?Arioch wrote:I just had a thought!
Our girl should have kicked his butt!
Well after all she is supposed to be quite good at Kung Fu?

Yes it must have been a coincidence that it was our girl! Robbers just aim at bags and luggage unnoticed by the owners. It was in the restaurant and many people were problably there. I don't think our girl was in personal danger at any time.
I suppose Vanessa-Mae will be more careful in the future. I guess she doesn't travel alone too often. This experience will make her take precautions from now on and she'll keep a better eye on her possessions.
