Vanessa-Mae's upcoming 32nd birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vanessa-Mae's upcoming 32nd bday is now rapidly approaching. Of course we plan to send her some attentions again this year.

Everyone is more than welcome to join this years project. I have no idea what to give her this year yet, so any suggestions are more than welcome.

In any case, we will send her a nice letter with some interesting and challenging questions for her to give us her answers to. So far in previous years, Vanessa-Mae always provided us with valuable feedback and interesting inside information, not publicly announced yet.

Anyone joining can send me by email an electronic bday card (jpeg format) in a suitable resolution for print on half a A4 size (A5) at the least.

It would be great to see the questions over here.
I would like to ask her many questions, such as why she does not keep in touch with her official website or let her know that her fans really would like to have her new album with a dvd with some unpublished concert (maybe we can ask her for the tchaikovsky or beethoven violin concert); as we have a seconds on the making of me.
Other, my friends always ask me why she never comes to Spain to make a concert or if she plans to do it because there are many people waiting for her, or if she knows the country.
I think, we can thank her for her patience and kindness at the end of the letter.
What are your possible questions? what would you like to ask her to answer?

CarrollTowerCX,you are great! But how can you find such many infos..for me it is more difficult,maybe I don't know how search.But the essence I know,for me is bliss to have her Music! She is so sincere in her playing violin! As musician myself, I feel this.Vanessa Mae..Such many memories and associations in my mind when I listen to her playing.This is so, because Vanessa Mae plays with whole heart and sincere inner passion and love for Music!

Hello Raytac,

When, in life, you set for yourself a very high goal, you can accomplish anything. For me it is now finding out all I can about Vanessa-Mae. She is such a wonderful person and a great musician. It is a real pleasure researching her. I have many other stories to tell. Some of them will be quite long. I am just finishing up one now. That is one reason I have not posted much lately, but just you wait!

I am envious of you for your ability to play the cello as well as all the others that can play any kind of musical instrument. Since I talk about music all the time, I have been asked often if I can play anything; and my answer is " The only thing I can play is the radio"; so there you see.

The other people I am envious of, are the fortunate ones who have seen Vanessa-Mae in person....I should be so lucky.

I would reject questions related to Lionel or something like that. I think is a bit of privacity and i would add some about music, what are her favourites from her albums or if she prefers to record classical or pop music...

I am in complete agreement with you. Personal questions about her relationship with Lionel should not be asked. We can see from the many photos of them together that she really cares for him, and he would be a fool not to reciprocate. So after all this time together and Vanessa's stated thoughts on marriage; we can rest assured that they are life-mates!

Yes, I would REALLY like to see the whole child concert video of Vanessa too!

I am working on the bday card right now. I plan to make some kind of award for her this year because this year it is exactly 15 years ago that The Violin Player was released. I plan to make a framed plaque with all prints of all versions of the album that were released somewhere around the world. I have all these versions in my collection.

I agree with you erzeta.These questions would be very good to ask.I personally would like to ask Vanessa Mae,which strings she use on her violins and some questions about her practice nowadays.How she keep form,maybe she has some system which she practice.It ould be very interesting for me,because I am musician also.And it would be interesting to know,how she controls stress if it being or arise sometimes.
